If you haven’t seen it already, Jonathan Lucroy has a bruised hand, and didn’t play tonight after undergoing X-Rays Monday. Here’s the weird part: Lucroy injured his hand as a result of a suitcase falling on it in his hotel room. Yes, I know this sounds like a joke, but it’s not.
Lucroy is, by all accounts, an honest guy, but the rather bizarre nature of his injury has led some people to question the veracity of his explanation. After seeing this photo, we have our doubts, too:
