Summer is over, and the National Basketball Association is almost officially back in session for the 2013-14 Toronto Raptors! That said, is there really ever an off-season for basketball? Scouting combines, Draft workouts, NBA Draft, NBA Summer League, individual player workouts & development…that's a season all on it's own!
Hoop Heads North is picking up steam, and we are looking forward to having an incredibly entertaining look at the Raptors' journey through the NBA season, and hopefully the post-season as well! Canada's talent rise being represented across the league deserves as much attention as possible, and we'll definitely be following & showcasing the Canadians making their mark in the Association!
Many new faces & names have arrived in Toronto for the upcoming season. At the same time, many young Canucks are continuing their young careers and some are just getting started in the NBA. This also means that inevitably, many familiar faces & names from Raptorland are embarking on new journeys with new teams across the NBA.
To piggy back on what Dwane Casey has been preaching since becoming head coach, the theme of this season here on the website is Operation #PoundTheRock!
