The Ducks have four feature visitors for this weekend’s game with UCLA, including two 5-star players.

Royce Freeman is an Oregon verbal commit, 6-0, 227. one of the best running backs in the country from Imperial Valley High in the San Diego area. He’s a 5-star prospect who averages 250 yards and four touchdowns a game for his undefeated high school team.

John “Juju” Smith is a highly-recruited 5-star safety and wide receiver , 6-1, 207, from Long Beach Poly High, the school that brought the Ducks Samie Parker just over a dozen years ago. Smith is smooth and fluid, with 51 tackles and 6 interceptions as a junior. On offense he caught 49 passes for 752 yards and 9 tds. He’s choosing between Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan,  Notre Dame, and Alabama.

Tyrell Crosby is a big, athletic offensive lineman, verbally committed to the Ducks since June. Agile at 6-6 290, also a basketball player at Green Valley High, he’s a perfect fit for the Oregon system and highly underrateda as a 3-star prospect.

A 6-2, 202-lb. athlete from Monroville, Pennsylvania, Montae Nicholson has scholarship offers from more than 30 schools, including Stanford, Florida State, Ohio State and Penn State. He’s a fast, athletic safety who could grow into a linebacker, captain a defense from the back end, or burn defenses as a big wide receiver.

Another visitor, linebacker Vincent Jackson of Tampa, Florida is still trying to firm up his travel plans. The Ducks need to add a couple of physical, aggressive defenders for the middle this cycle, so getting him to visit would be a big bonus. He’s 6-3, 245, coveted by Florida, Alabama, and half of the defensive coordinators in the country. The other half know they can’t get him.
