Big Papi is going on the DL and will have a cortisone injection today. Ortiz is not officially done for the season yet and may return if the injection helps him play without pain. Ryan Kalish is taking Ortiz’s roster spot. Dice-K was also activated and will start today, Pedro Beato was sent down to make room.
