Vladimir Tarasenko has been the MVP of the Blues so far in the first round. Aside from being one of the only Blues to be able to actually fire a shot on frame, Tarasenko has delivered clutch goals on multiple occasions through the first four games.
What does T.J. Oshie have to say about the young Russian? Nothing but praise.
Oshie surprised by Tarasenko: "Not really. The kid's good. He's a good player. We want the puck on his stick as much as possible." #stlblues

Oshie on Tarasenko: "He can shoot the puck like no one I've ever played with. He's a great player. I'm glad he's on our side." #stlblues

Tarasenko truly is something special. He has the ability to create chances in tight places. He’s the best pure shooter on the team and he’s the most dynamic weapon the Blues have had all season. Though the Blues have him locked up through 2014-15, it may not be too early to consider negotiating him to a new contract.
