It was a killer B that did us in. Not Berkman or Bagwell…not even Burke…but, on retro night, it was little Craig Biggio that drove the nail in the coffin with his grand slam homer off reliever Greg Aquino in the ninth that wound up giving the Astros the 6-5 win and the lead in the NL Central. The game started with Ben Sheets starting off a bit rocky, first with a leadoff run that lead to a run…the Crew tied it up in the bottom of the first. The Crew took a 2-1 lead in the 5th, but the ‘Stros tied it at 2-2 in the 7th, which held until Biggio’s rare home run. Prince Fielder tried to get the Crew back in it with a 3-run shot in the bottom of the ninth, but the Crew fell short, 6-5. The loss puts the Crew back in second, a game back of the red hot Astros in the loss column. Chris Capuano tries to get revenge tonight.
