Mel Bracht of the Daily Oklahoman writes about the new NBA policy requiring coaches to be miked and do in-game interviews on ESPN and TNT broadcasts. Bracht’s notebook includes a preview of the ESPN “This is SportsCenter” special and the announcing teams for the BCS on Fox. And here are Bracht’s suggestions of what to watch this weekend.
Ferd Lewis of the Honolulu Adviser writes that the University of Hawaii football games on ESPN2 not only helped Colt Brennan’s chances for the Heisman Trophy, but also brought some good ratings as well.
