Bills receiver Terrell Owens, who has been criticized for bolting from the locker room after Monday night’s loss to the Patriots, talked on Wednesday about his decision not to talk.
“It’s not the first time,” he said, which apparently makes it OK. “If you guys are upset about it, then hey, I’m not. We lost the game, and it’s nothing different, nothing new. I haven’t spoken to the media before, so it’s nothing new. I’ve done it before, done it after wins, done it after losses. I’m a very competitive guy and I felt like I wasn’t in my frame of mind to really speak to the media at that time and that’s at my discretion.”

Oh that’s not going to fly with the Buffalo Sports media. Owens pretty much told the media to get bent and he doesn’t care if it’s their job to report on his words. I mean come on, the dude has Twitter to announce his views on Patrick Swayze and Kanye West, along with that terrible reality show to voice his opinions (sigh).
Owens also used a passive agressive approach when asked about Leodis McKelvin fumble against the Pats
“There are a number of opportunities that we missed offensively,” Owens said, “so I know a lot of people want to point the finger at Leodis and his decision to come out of the end zone, but that’s a guy that’s very competitive, trying to make a play, and I’m sure, given that situation again, he will make a better decision.”

Hmm, that last line..somebody tune up the song “hail to the bus driver,” because someone is getting thrown under it.
