Pierce fined $15K for tossing “object”

ESPN Boston's Chris Forsberg tweeted the following:

"Paul Pierce fined $15,000 for throwing an object in the stands vs. Indiana, NBA announced this afternoon."

At first, I thought they were definitely talking about his headband-which he throws to the crowd after every game.

But Forsberg went on to say that after watching some highlights it "doesn't appear" that it was his headband. The incident occurred in the 1st quarter of the game vs the Pacers on 12/28. Hmmmm…so who knows.

This is the 2nd recent fine for the C's. The Big Shamrock was also fined last week for criticizing the NBA's fine officials.
