Pacers suffer 6th consecutive loss as Hibbert injured

This has to be a joke, right? The last remaining healthy starter on the Pacers’ roster, Roy Hibbert, played only 11 minutes because of a bruised knee suffered in the first quarter when he tried to set a screen for a teammate.

Now the Pacers are without Paul George, David West, George Hill, CJ Watson, CJ Miles, Rodney Stuckey and Roy Hibbert. That’s all five projected starters (before and after Paul George went down for the year), plus their top PG backup.

And so it was no surprise that the Pacers grabbed their 6th consecutive loss tonight, a 97-90 loss to the Wizards at home that was not as close as the scoreline suggested. But hey, on the bright side, Solomon Hill renewed his career high by scoring 28 points on 10-19 shooting and grabbed 6 rebounds. Maybe this is the year Solo develops into a solid wing to compliment or at least consistent back up Paul George when he returns.

And maybe, if this luck continues, the Pacers will get a very good chance at a top 5 pick at the next draft. That’s all.
