Parker, De Colo demolish Canada in exhibition

TPAs we reported yesterday, San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker and France had an exhibition game against France earlier today in which the French demolished Canada 106 to 44.

Yes, you read that right, 62 points.

Parker had 10 points and eight assists off 4 of 7 shooting in 24 minutes of action.

San Antonio Spurs’ draftee Nando De Colo who also plays with France had 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists of his own. He shot 4 of 7 too while going 1 of 3 from beyond the arc.

The French were led by Charlotte’s Boris Diaw who had 16 points and six rebounds. Portland’s Nicolas Batum and New York’s Ronny Turiaf each chipped in nine points as well.

Canada really needed some help as they only made 16 of 55 shots in the game. They better hope Spurs draftee Cory Joseph gets his insurance issue cleared, Matt Bonner becomes naturalized, and Tristan Thompson changes his mind and decides to play for the Canadians.

Both teams will resume action once again tomorrow as they face each other for another friendly.
