The Sports Business Daily/Journal has put up a special website devoted to the Olympics and they’ll have stories from Communist China every day. The great thing is that it’s free and you don’t have to have a password to access the stories.
I have had the chance to have a friendly e-mail dialogue with John Ourand who has done yeoman’s work breaking stories including the NBC/NFL Sunday Night Football online streaming experiment.
Today, the website has a look at the average primetime and overall TV ratings for the last five Olympics on NBC, dating back to 1988. You’ll notice that Atlanta is the benchmark as the Games were in our backyard and the United States did exceptionally well as far as the medal count was concerned.
Here at Fang’s Bites, we’ll have links devoted to the Olympics every day while the Games are on. Keep your RSS feeds updated. It should be fun.
