Some of you may have noticed today that the Paternoville sign outside Beaver Stadium was the victim of vandalism recently. According to Nittany Lions Den staff writer Karisa Maxwell
The sign is one of many found around the outside of Beaver Stadium, and throughout campus. The sign serves as a source for basic information about the campus and, as in this case, the traditions of the Penn State experience. Paternoville is one of the newest traditions on campus, and one that brings a tremendous amount of pride to those who participate in the portion of the student section that devotes their weekly schedule to cheering on the football team every Saturday in the fall, camping outside Beaver Stadium for a chance to be in the first row once the gates open on game day.
The Paternoville Twitter account shared a message with its 5,000+ followers asking for anyone with information to call the University Police. “If anyone has information regarding our missing sign, please contact Penn State University Police at (814) 863-1111.”
Nittany Lions Den seconds that plea. Or let Karisa know so she can rally the troops. Either way.
