After testing his sore left knee during pregame workouts, forward Patrick Patterson is a no-go for this afternoon’s match up against the Memphis Grizzlies. Patterson injured the knee in a collision with teammate Travis Outlaw during Friday night’s game against the Detroit Pistons.
With Patterson ailing, coach Michael Malone will turn to a combination of Outlaw, Chuck Hayes and Luc Mbah a Moute to fill the void behind starter Jason Thompson. The injury also opens up an opportunity for Hamady Ndiaye, who will be active for tonight’s game.
Patterson is averaging 5.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 23 minutes per game through Sacramento’s first eight contests.
Correction: Ray McCallum is not active for today’s match-up against the Grizzlies.
