The New England Patriots add some more depth to their roster by signing cornerback EJ Biggers and tight end Clay Harbor to 1-year deals. Biggers was signed to an $840,000 deal and will serve as depth for the Patriots. On the other hand, Harbor will look to lock down the third tight end spot in a battle with Michael Williams and AJ Derby.

Biggers, 28, was a seventh round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft out of Western Michigan University. Biggers spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, before moving on to the Washington Redskins for two seasons and the Philadelphia Eagles for one season. Biggers has 231 tackles and four interceptions in his career.
Harbor, 28, was a fourth round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Missouri State University. Harbor spent three seasons with the Eagles, before moving on to the Jacksonville Jaguars for three more seasons. Harbor has 1,151 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in his NFL career.
The Patriots continue to fill out their roster in advance of the 2016 NFL Draft. Harbor will look to fill a joint role as a tight end and receiver, while Biggers will look to carve out backup cornerback minutes and special teams time.
