The New England Patriots organization is not one to stand idle when they feel they’ve been wronged.
The team was recently stripped of its first-round pick, 29th overall, in the draft, as part of the Deflategate penalties, so they decided to have some fun at the NFL’s expense.
Since they won’t be picking on Thursday night (unless they trade up, which, given their history, is highly unlikely), they won’t have the chance to post a photo of a player donning a Patriots jersey.
Instead, they elected to post a photo of a Tom Brady jersey on Instagram, showing that they stand by their quarterback.

The team is also now displaying the same photo as its Twitter avatar.
