Perhaps the biggest complaint made by Patriots fans outside of “Tom Brady needs more weapons” is the lack of a pass rush by New England’s defense. The stat above would suggest that those complaints may be unfounded. With Vince Wilfork and Tommy Kelly set to return to action and a loaded secondary that will force opposing QB’s to hold on to the ball a second longer, we could see the likes of Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, and whatever schlub the Jets decided to trot out under center, eating a healthy dose of turf in 2014.
