I’m not sure if Pedro Alvarez’s hot streak in Indianapolis or Alex Presley’s thumb bruise forced Neal Huntington’s hand on Pedro Alvarez, but the Pirates just announced via Twitter that Pedro is back with the Bucs and Presley is going on the 15-day DL.
It obviously sucks that Presley’s going to be out for a couple of weeks, but the only way this club is winning the National League Central is with a big performance by Pedro in the last two months of the season and I’m psyched he’s going to get a chance to contribute. Let’s put the fear of El Toro into the NL East this week.
