This is the series most fans of hockey wanted to see. Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin and two teams that hate each other. At their best, each team is evenly matched, though the Caps have performed better this year during the regular season. In the first game of their playoff series, the two teams showed nothing has changed. Though the Penguins have recently dominated this series, the Capitals have a different air about them this year. A tough series is going to be hell for both of these squads. Who has what it takes to survive all 7 games? The first went to OT before being won by TJ Oshie. I suspect it won’t be the last overtime game of this series.
