Last Thoughts

Spartans star Quaterback Connor Cook did not play last week and they still ended up beating the undefeated Buckeyes in the Horseshoe. This Spartans team should be undefeated if it wasn’t for a miracle ending for Nebraska a couple weeks back. Here’s what I’m getting at, Michigan State is pretty darn good. They throw, they run, and they play great defense. Penn State has a chip on their shoulder as they still look for their first signature win in the Franklin era. This will be the last regular season game for Nassib and Zettel, but the big question is if it will be Hackenberg’s. Hack will have to be smart with the ball and connect with his receivers if they have any chance of winning. Cook looks like he will start, but we do not know how healthy he is, if the defense can get to him, he may have a long day or may be too banged up to continue. Saquon Barkley was rather ineffective last week, that cannot happen again, he will need to get over 100 yards in this one to help out Hackenberg and the offensive line. This will be a tough one for the Lions as the regular season winds down.

Prediction: Penn State 17 Mich. St 30
