Merry Almost Christmas Everyone! So far in the off season, the Red Sox have brought us the signing of John Lackey and Mike Cameron, the trade rumors surrounding Adrian Gonzalez and the diss of Jason Bay. One more thing that the Red Sox and the Globe have brought us this year…and that is the addition of Pete Abraham to the writing staff. They plucked him right out from under the Yankees’ noses….
And Pete jumped right in last season with all things Red Sox and has never looked back. He posted a poem over on Extra Bases entitled “The Night Before Red Sox Christmas.” Check it out. Of course, it couldn’t be complete without a JD Drew bashing, but since it’s so close to the holidays…I’ll forgive him this ONE TIME.
