Phil B checks in with scores of injury notes
* Colts coach Jim Caldwell said guard Kyle DeVan is rotating with right guard Mike Pollak because DeVan has impressed the coaches in practice. I thought maybe Pollak was sick on Sunday night, but Caldwell said DeVan keeps playing well and the Colts wanted to see if he would do as well in a game as he did in workouts.
“We’ll probably do the same thing this week,” Caldwell said. “Kyle has just earned it.”
I can hear some bloggers already. First, the Colts miss on tackle Tony Ugoh. Now, they could be wrong about Pollak, who can’t keep his job against an undrafted guy who is with his third team? I’m not sure I want to lump both of those guys together in the “bust” list just yet, but it’s certainly an interesting development.
