He thinks the Gonzo thing will work itself out

This is going to sound like a rationalization, but the gut feel here is this, too, shall sort itself out. I don’t think the Colts receivers can go an entire season without getting nicked up. One week, a guy is going to be dinged. Another, a guy could be out. During a game, Reggie Wayne, Garcon or Collie could take a nasty hit and be a bit shaky. It’s football. Guys get dinged.

So something tells me Gonzalez will have every opportunity to play his share of snaps. He will get the chance to catch his share of passes. And should the Colts need him to come through in the clutch, Peyton Manning will go to Gonzo if needed.
