Marcus Howard is a fast pass rusher, but the Colts decided they needed more. As others have written, they want more size to go with the speed. Howard weighs less than 240 pounds. We were all somewhat surprised, but maybe we shouldn’t have been. He was a fifth-round pick a year ago, which doesn’t make him a sure thing obviously, but the Colts evidently decided the project pass rusher didn’t have enough up side. Keyunta Dawson and Raheem Brock will get the snaps at defensive end behind Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis. I won’t be surprised if Eric Foster shifts out there, as needed.
