Wide receiver Taj Smith, who spent last season on the practice squad, took a step or two back with a couple passes he should have caught.
Didn’t see much of rookie TE Brody Eldridge with two catches for 12 yards, but I like what I’ve seen of him so far. It was also a positive to see Jacob Tamme catch a TD pass. He’s in the crowd at TE and you have to wonder how it will sort out. I don’t know if the Colts would carry four TEs, perhaps so. Tamme had three catches for 26 yards.
