The back and forth shuffling of Lorenzo Brown from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Delaware 87ers continue. Today, the guard was recalled back to the Sixers.
Brown, for the past few games was playing with the Delaware 87ers in the NBA D-League Showcase. In the D-League Showcase, Brown had great performances while the team lost both games in Reno.
In the 87ers’ first game in the D-League Showcase versus Reno, Brown played 40 minutes, scored 17 points and dished out 10 assists. In yesterday’s game versus the Texas Legends, Brown played much better and was a driving force to keep the Sevens in the game.
He scored 22 points in 41 minutes of game action. It seems as if Brown for the rest of the season might be splitting time between the NBA and the D-League. It can only benefit a player of his caliber who is trying to find his role on the team.
