The Philadelphia 76ers are not done making additions to their 2013-14 roster as today, according to Yahoo Sports! Adrian Wojnarowski, they have signed point guard Darius Morris to a partially guaranteed contract. Morris is a young point guard and only at the age of 22, he still has things to learn. Morris has spent his young career with the Los Angeles Lakers and has shown flashes of being a good backup point guard.

Last season with the Lakers, Morris averaged four points and 1.6 assists in 14.2 minutes per game. Morris came out of Michigan very early as a sophomore back in 2011, when the the Lakers selected him in the second round. On that Michigan team, Morris played with the likes of now rookie guard Tim Hardaway Jr. of the New York Knicks.

A lot of people thought Morris should have stayed in school for an extra year because he would have honed his skills better. With adding Morris to the roster, the Sixers have now added another young guard to go with Michael-Carter Williams, Tony Wroten Jr., and Khalif Wyatt.

The Sixers are truly in a rebuilding mode and it will be a long season of growth for Brett Brown and the entire Sixers organization.
