The Philadelphia 76ers have signed forward James Nunnally to a 10-day contract. Shams Charania of RealGM was the first person to report the news.

Nunnally is a 6-foot-7, 23-year old forward out of UC Santa Barbara. He averaged 18.1 points and 4.5 rebounds with the Bakersfield Jam and Texas Legends this season. He is an efficient scorer, as shown by his 46.7 field goal percentage and 41.6 three-point field goal percentage. The Atlanta Hawks signed him to two 10-day contracts in January, and he scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 54 minutes of action with them. Overall, he has played pretty well so far this season.

To free up a roster spot for Nunnally, the Sixers had to waive point guard Eric Maynor. Maynor averaged 3.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists with the Sixers this season. Since Maynor has a player option for the 2014-15 season, he is owed $2.1 million dollars.
