Today, the Philadelphia Eagles made another change to their practice squad as they had one more spot left to fill. The team announced that they have brought back linebacker Brandon Hepburn.

With this move, the Eagles have officially reached the 10-man limit. Yesterday, the team released wide receiver Cobi Hamilton from the practice squad and then added safety Jordan Kovacs.
Hepburn joined the Eagles practice squad in early September when Emmanuel Acho was promoted to the 53-man roster due to Najee Goode falling to injury early in the season. Then Hepburn was waived by the team last week in favor of linebacker Jake Knott, who just came back from a four-game suspension. Knott also got injured and the Eagles waived him with an injury settlement.
Shockingly, the Eagles linebacking core has not been a problem like it has been in the past. In fact, we do not even talk about it as much as it seems like that moniker has gone to the secondary. Hepburn should provide some much-needed depth as DeMeco Ryans suffered a groin injury in last Sunday’s game against the Rams.
Hepburn was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Florida A&M.
