Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers put together a masterful performance in Thursday’s 29-28 comeback win over the Chiefs, and all of a sudden, his team is in the mix for the AFC West title, with the veteran signal-caller also in the MVP discussion.
Rivers led his team back from a 14-point deficit late in the fourth quarter, scoring two touchdowns in less than four minutes, including a ridiculous throw on 4th-and-8 into a tight window to Travis Benjamin to keep the team’s hopes alive.
And he made sure to remind Chiefs fans at Arrowhead Stadium about it. Watch him wave to them as he made his way off the field to the locker room.
