From “Mr. Miami” to “Unicorn”, the names on the backs of players during Major League Baseball’s inaugural Players Weekend were, ummm…interesting.
Never one to be left out, the Philadelphia Phillies mascot even got in on the action. The Phanatic, or ‘NATIC, had his own custom jersey during the team’s weekend tilt against the Chicago Cubs.

At least The Phanatic was able to actually use his desired name. Pitchers Zach Eflin and Hoby Milner reportedly had their requests denied by league brass.
