This past season, the Philadelphia Phillies back-end of the rotation was not good as Kyle Kendrick had an up and down year. According to Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com, the Phillies have shown interest in 36-year-old free agent pitcher Aaron Harang.
Also hearing buzz that Phillies are poking around on free agent pitcher Aaron Harang. Phils have been looking for short term pitching fit.

Last season, Harang pitched for the Atlanta Braves and posted a 3.57 ERA. He also had a 12-12 record with 204.1 innings pitched and 161 strikeouts. If the Phillies could add a pitcher like Harang to the back-end of the rotation, it will give them much-needed stability. The last time Harang had .500 record or better was the 2012 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
With the Dodgers, Harang posted a 10-10 record with a 3.61 ERA and 131 strikeouts in 179.2 innings pitched.
