In case you missed it at the end of the Morning Dump, Paul Pierce is going to play in a couple of exhibitions in Mexico.
Paul Pierce, Kevin Love and Jason Kidd headline a group of NBA players who have committed to play two exhibition games in Mexico next month.
The games will be hosted by Mexico native and Charlotte Bobcats forward Eduardo Najera. Organizers of the event said Tyson Chandler, Trevor Ariza, Marcus Camby, DeAndre Jordan, Corey Maggette, Jerryd Bayless and Ryan Hollins are among the other players who will participate in the games. Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash has also been invited to play.
The two exhibition games will be played in Culiacán on Oct. 6 and Mazatlan on Oct. 8. Najera, Love, Chandler, Kidd and possibly Pierce will also visit Mexico City on Oct. 4 to meet Mexico President Felipe Calderon and businessman Carlos Slim Helu, who is considered the richest man in the world.
Hey, guys gotta stay in shape somehow, I guess. I'd say the C's should organize workouts, but what are they going to play, 3-on-3?
