After missing practice yesterday, Rajon Rondo (hamstring) and Paul
Pierce (knee infection) are on the floor, working with a unit that also
includes Ray Allen, Brian Scalabrine and Rasheed Wallace.Kendrick
Perkins is conspicuously absent. The team leaves at 3 p.m. for
tomorrow's game against Miami, no word yet on whether either player
will be available.
Does the Pierce sighting mean he will play Wednesday? I doubt it…
Update: The Herald's Mark Murphy says Pierce participated in the entire practice, including the scrimmage and says it's a strong indication he will play in Miami.
The Celtics tweeted that Marquis Daniels was running on a treadmill.
