Pierce, Rondo to be named All Stars

ORLANDO, Fla. — Kevin Garnett will have some company at next month’s All-Star Game in Dallas.

Two
sources confirmed that both Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo are expected to
be among the Eastern Conference all-star reserves announced later
tonight.

That’s about right.  Pierce is having a very underrated season right now, but he’s definitely worthy.  And Rondo is a no-brainer.  This will be the first of MANY in a row for Rondo.

This was one of the topics we discussed last night on The 2 Man Game with WEEI’s Jessica Camerato.

We also discussed Glen Davis’ nickname flap… and how it all really came about… KG’s knee and how he really looks out there… how Marquis Daniels’ impending return will shake up minute-wise…  and why we should throw confetti when she shows up at tonight’s Red’s Army Birthday Bash (yes, she’s going… bring a sharpie so she can sign autographs).
