Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training is ramping up. Here now are some of the sights and sounds from February 19th.
Today we saw Pirates GM Neal Huntington speak to the assembled media in Bradenton. His comments were interesting, most notably his thoughts on if Josh Harrison may be asked to move around the diamond should Jung Ho Kang be unable to start the season.
Clint Hurdle also spoke to the media, with extensive comments on Jon Niese.
Lastly, please enjoy this video footage of the team going through early spring training workouts. Keep your eyes peeled for the Steve Blass and Ken Tekulve sighting. Mark Melancon, Jeff Locke, and others are also featured.
