In what was either the worst kept secret of the NBA offseason or some extremely late reporting by ESPN, Lawrence Frank has agreed to a four-year contract to become the next head coach of the Pistons.
I’m fairly indifferent about this hire: nobody on the market was an ideal candidate for this job, and the Pistons’ roster is such a mess that a new coach probably won’t help things too much anyway. Still, this won’t stop me from making leprechaun jokes the entire time Frank is on the sidelines.
Go Pistons. End the lockout. Fix the bugs in NBA League Pass.
