Pistons Interview Patrick Ewing for Coaching Job, Should Probably Sign Him Instead

The latest candidate in the Detroit Pistons Bi-Annual Coaching Search (or DPBACS, as it’s commonly known now) is none other than legendary big man Bill Laimbeer Patrick Chewing.

Even though Ewing is getting what seems like a serious look from the Pistons’ brass, all signs point towards Lawrence Frank being the next sacrificial lamb head coach.

With the team’s serious lack of frontcourt depth, it might almost be a better idea for Joe Dumars to sign Ewing as a player. Let’s face it, even though he’s pushing 49 he can’t be any worse than Chris Wilcox.
