Some of the ensuing debate circles around off-the-field issues – rightfully so – and still some swirls around the actual action we see for 162-plus games every season.
It is only fitting, then, that Pirates Breakdown brings you the latest episode of CANNONBALLS, our unique weekly Pittsburgh Pirates debate show. You will NOT find hot takes here, but rather an intelligent, informed debate between our staff writers and special guests.
Today we welcome back last week’s champion – Matt Shetler – welcomes in a new challenger – PBD Editor in Chief Jason Rollison- to the show. With a disappointing 3-1 series loss fresh in mind, the duo debate Gregory Polanco and the offense as a whole while trying to figure out just how to get Billy Hamilton out on a consistent basis.
