Miami Marlins
The Marlins are fading, and that’s excellent news for Pittsburgh Pirates fans.
The fish are now 3.5 games back after losing two straight to the Mets. In our last WC Watch, we thought that this series would serve as an inflection point, but it’s not time for that just yet. The Marlins still have two games in the four-gamer at Citi Field, and after the dust settles, the status quo going into the week may remain. The south beach club will have to aim for a series split, with a three game jaunt to Cleveland immediately following.
