As the rest of the NFL prepares for their opening preseason games tonight, tomorrow and over the weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers already have one under their belt as they participated in the Hall of Fame Game last Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings.
It wasn’t all systems go for the Steelers, who let Landry Jones play quarterback for the entire game. Jones completed 16-of-32 passes for 135 yards and had some touchdown passes dropped in a 14-3 loss. Ben Roethlisberger plans to see the field in the upcoming preseason games.
