We’re continuing a weekly feature where we fill space by bringing you the best and greatest links from around the interwebs in the last week. Some may have to do with Vikings football. Most probably won’t, though. And at the end, we’ll send you off with our song of the day. Hopefully, this will be a good tool to help you bring in the New Year in predictably disappointing fashion. Cheesy fingers, anyone?
Any tips, links, laughs, videos, suggestions, Twitter feeds, people to make fun of, Vikings related or otherwise, that you want to see here send to [email protected] or leave a message in the comments. Totally awesome links after the jump …
Deadspin: There has been a significant lack of dick jokes around here recently. I suppose I’ll have to make another tired reference to Shiancoe soon. In the meantime, take a trip back through 2009 with Deadspin as they get a rise out of all of the telestrator dong seen over the last year. Yay!
Vikes Geek: Remember that Monday night game against the Bears this week where the Vikings went on a terror in the second half and dropped a scoring bomb on Chicago? Vikes Geek offers insight into why it happened, and also why the team predictably shat the proverbial bed in overtime. Good read.
Vikings Gab: Antoine Winfield was the recipient of the Mushroom Stamp of Disapproval this week thanks to his lousy play against the Bears. He turned right around on Tuesday though and accepted responsibility for his actions. Was it good enough? Vikings Gab has the answer.
KSK: Professional dick joker and famous internet Vikings fan Big Daddy Drew brought back the KSK gamebook this week when he reviewed the Vikings and Bears game. It’s filled with more details concerning Tirico and Gruden, things which you undoubtedly noticed, than you could play a drinking game to, but also brings major lulz.
Viking Age: Coming off of that Pro Bowl debacle where Bryant McKinnie was selected as the starting left tackle, Viking Age seems to have taken the selection personally as they go off on a tirade over the selection. The question is raised though, what outside blocker from the NFC really deserved the spot anyway? Answer? Jim Kleinsasser.
Delete Yourself: Ever wondered what a reverse Michael Jackson looks like? It’s right here. Don’t open this at work unless you want your boss to think you’re a pedophile. Nothing showing, it’s just …. Young.
Bob’s Blitz: Bob apparently selected his best sports blogs of 2009 this past week and noticeably left PJD off of his list. I call absolute bullshit. Go through the list. Some good ones on there, sure, but he also mentions some have great site design. OVER THIS ONE??! Maybe next year PJD will be listed Bob, but if it’s not, I don’t blame you at all.
