Don’t you hate how they always try to compare THIS YEARS Vikings team to PAST YEARS Packers teams? God, the logic there is so fucking terrible it makes you want to kill a llama baby. Flickr Photo Set: Did you see that game between the Colts and the Bills last weekend? Of course you didn’t. It’s the Bills. No one watches them. And even if they wanted to watch them they couldn’t because local affiliates would choose teams that brought in more viewers anyway. Well, you missed out on an orgasmic snow football game. Jay Glazer Twitter: Big news today (aside from Percy being the ROY ) is that the Bills are flying out to Minnesota today to interview Leslie Frazier tomorrow for their head coaching job. Does this bother me? I don’t think so. His defense has been on the decline this year and I’d love to see Karl Dunbar at that position. Of course until he’s taken to be a head coach somewhere too. Can we just ask Mike Tomlin to come back instead?
ProFootballTalk: Not as impressive of a find anymore considering the Glazer Tweet, but PFT was also reporting that former Viking offensive coordinator Brian Billick may also be in talks with the Bills for the head coaching spot and he may be bringing favorite meat head Mike Tice along with him. Vikings 2.0? Too late. The Bills already lost all those Super Bowls as well. Loserville, population: 2.
Bear Goggles On: Nothing brings as much joy to my heart as reading another team’s fan’s melt down. Over at Bear Goggles On, the writers tear into the Bears organization for writing such a douchey apology letter to Bears fans. I have to say, I’d be upset if my one night stand wrote something like that too, although I should be the one apologizing.
Jim Souhan at Star Tribune: Some rubes have been loving this article from Souhan, calling it the best he’s ever written. Really? You’re going to love an article telling you that mediocrity and zero championships should make Minnesota sports fans happy? Jesus fucking Christ, this is why Minnesota sports fans are fucking retards. I hate Souhan now, if I didn’t already.
KFAN: The Vikings announced today too that they re-upped their radio contract with KFAN. NOOOOOOOOO! /Paul Allen impersonation. Of note here is that it is a two year contract, which ends it during the same time that the Metrodome lease is up. THERE ARE NO LONG TERM COMMITMENTS!!! ZOMG!! The team is still moving.
