Vikings.com Blog: A recent interview with Brad Childress over at the Vikings.com Blog has him talking about the Vikings safety play. Apparently Childress felt that their play was up to par more so in the playoffs, and talks a lot about Jamarca Sanford. That should make some people happy as people fucking HATE our safeties right now and like what Sanford did. Aside from the whole attempted murder on EJ Henderson thing.
ProFootballTalk – Overtime Related: Zygmut Wilf was one of four owners who voted against the new playoff rules. He cites “The Greatest Game That was Ever Played” as how awesome sudden death OT can be except … that game wasn’t played as a sudden death OT. PFT seems to dislike Wilf enough to shoot him down through all of this, but hey, he’s getting old. Lay off.
A 2nd Take: I have no idea what this website is. It looks kind of stupid, much like this one, but they did a short interview with Bryant McKinnie mostly about being a record CEO. If he wasn’t a Vikings, I would totally agree with him that as an athlete you better have an outside business or your fucked when your football income stops. But as a Vikings, Jesus fist fucker man, get in the weight room.
ProFootballTalk – Favre Related: Former Falcons GM or … I don’t know, someone in charge … finally opened up recently about why they ended up trading Favre from Atlanta to Green Bay all those years ago. The reason? Favre is a drunk and he needed to go some place where he was bored out of his skull. If he went to New York, they speculate he probably would have died from AIDS. Or something. Kind of interesting though.
Rhys Lloyd’s Man Room: New Vikings kicking specialist (easiest job ever?) recently posted a video on Twitter of his “now completed” man room. Our take? What a shitty man room! It looks like a small closet and Lloyd, you definitely need to upgrade your TV, man. With your new contract I want to at least see a 42 incher in there. And I’m not talking about Visanthe Shiancoe.
Kotaku: For you nerds out there that love video games, Kotaku nabbed a couple of screen shots of the new NCAA footall game coming out this summer and holy bubble butt does that look outstanding. I haven’t bought a sports game in a couple of years but this one … This could be the one. Except that it won’t, because who am I kidding. Also, I would expect Madden graphics to be equally stellar.
Pet Tube: Don’t worry, it’s not porn, unless you’re into bestiality. But it is an awesome website of animals fucking around. You could probably watch this for days.
