PK Subban back in good graces

Last night, Montreal Canadiens’ star PL Subban lost an edge and Jarome Iginla scored among the easiest goals of his career. Coach Michel Therrien undiplomatically attributed the games loss to Subban’s blunder, which is rough, considering that he leads the team in points, and really can’t fully be blamed for the Canadiens problems. It’s rough that he was called out in this particular game. The whole crew is garbage! Anywho, Subban had an assist on every goal the Habs put in the net Friday night. He carried the Canadiens, which is easier to do when you have both feet under you.

SCOREBOARD (Thursday night)
Washington 3, New York Islanders 2 (OT) – The Islanders are really quite good this year, and look like absolute filth next to the Caps.

Pittsburgh 6, Detroit 3 – For better or worse, I don’t expect this many goals in a Red Wings-Penguins game.

New York Rangers 4, Toronto 2 – The Leafs crowd was heavily invested, and as is often the case, sorely disappointed.

Ottawa 4, Carolina 2  – Pssst, the ‘Canes still have more points than the Sens.

Tampa Bay 6, Winnipeg 5 (SO) – They played 3-3 the entire game.

San Jose 2, Florida 1 – I was sent a Google Alert that said “NHL’s Panthers lose again”. Absolutely no reason for me to get that.

St. Louis 2, Los Angeles 1 (OT) – Emotions are still raw about the Rams. Tense game.

Nashville 2, Boston 0 – Pekka Rinne was a wall in net.

Minnesota 5, Edmonton 2 – The Wild swept western Canada in 4 days. Everyone should get new coaches.

Arizona 6, Dallas 3 – Late night goals count twice.

Anaheim 5, Vancouver 2 – Not only have the Ducks made a nice recovery, but they now have the same record as the Islanders, +1 OTL.
