Political Dissent Among Steel Curtain Steelers?

Looks like politics break up the ties that bind.

From this picture, it appears both Jerome Bettis and Franco Harris are Democratic supporters. More importantly, they’re Barack Obama-Democratic supporters.

Political endorsements have taken their toll on the Steel Curtain Steelers, as it seems. Back when (Republican) Lynn Swann was running for governor of Pennsylvania, the only hints of Steeler support came from this guy:

…and he was probably smashed out of his mind.

However, I don’t know how long beatified bowler Bettis will be on board with Barack (The Bus is in the Bowling Hall of Fame). Especially after the presidential candidate recently posted a 37 at some lanes in Altoona.
