STAPLES CENTER, LOS ANGELES, CA — It was the play that broke the Internet tonight. Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry caused Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul to fall, “breaking his ankles” and best described by Warriors’ radio broadcaster Tim Roye:

“(Curry) comes down left wing, behind-the-back — an ankklebreaker on Chris Paul — and he knocked down the jumper! Paul fell down! Curry just floored him with that move!”

Warriors center Andrew Bogut couldn’t wait to hit up social media. Per Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group:

Warriors center Andrew Bogut said he didn’t have a good live look of the memorable move Stephen Curry put on Chris Paul, but figured the Internet would help him out with that one.
.
“I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of memes,” Bogut said. “So I’m looking forward to getting on Instagram and Twitter and seeing exactly what they’re doing on the Photoshop because there’s a lot of antics that were going behind the bench when it happened, and it was a hell of a play by Steph.”

“Man, his handles are crazy,” said Klay Thompson, “When someone like Chris Paul falls, that’s pretty impressive.”

Andre Iguodala said that he sensed something big was coming.

“The funny thing is that I saw it. I know the setup when he comes with the ‘bop-bop’ (two consecutive moves),” said Iguodala. “I see the setup every time…I can always start to tell with Steph or Klay when a big play’s coming up, so I’m always grabbing somebody and I grabbed Shaun (Livingston).”

Maybe Iguodala should have grabbed Leandro Barbosa, who looked as if he had nearly fainted.
