Oehser recaps

*Manning. Noble of Colts quarterback Peyton Manning to take the blame for the loss Sunday, and there are those in the media and blogosphere who have taken that slant breaking down the game. Noble, but perhaps not entirely accurate. Yes, Manning threw three interceptions, but he also threw four touchdown passes, three of which went to players not on the active roster when the season began: one to tight end Gijon Robinson and two to wide receiver Blair White. Yes, Manning threw too many interceptions, but you can’t analyze in a vacuum. The Colts are playing with decidedly less than their best lineup and Manning on Sunday kept the Colts in the game long after many teams and quarterbacks would have been out of it.
