The Pittsburgh Penguins were able to secure the lead once again in their 2013 NHL Playoff series with a 5-4 overtime win against the New York Islanders.

In the extra session, the Islanders’ Brian Strait got called for holding at the 8:11 mark. During that power play, Chris Kunitz would get his second power play goal of the day, a shot in the slot that went behind Evgeni Nabokov for the win. Also scoring for the Pens were Jarome Iginla, Pascal Dupuis and Douglas Murray. Sidney Crosby had 3 assists.

Matt Moulson, Casey Cizikas, Kyle Okposo and John Tavares scored for the Islanders, while Nabokov stopped 20 of 25 shots.

Game four of this series will be Tuesday night at 7:00 PM at the Nassau Coliseum. The game will be carried across the US on NBC Sports Network and on TSN in Canada. For our readers in the New York/Pittsburgh Areas, the game will be shown on MSG+ and Root Sports, respectively.
