The Celtics recent play has forced me to break out the Grim Reaper's cape. The March 6th win over Cleveland was the only thing that kept me from jumping off the Tobin. Here's my top 5:
1. Lakers: Bynum on track to return in 3-4 weeks, but Lakers really haven't missed him. Here's hoping he messes up chemistry. A lock for the #1 seed in the West.
1a. Cavaliers: Won 18 of 22. Joe Smith averaging 6.5 pts, 4.7 reb since coming aboard.
3. Celtics: Injured and playing poorly (5-5). They will get healthy but can they flip the switch come playoff time?
4. San Antonio: Clinging to the #2 spot in the West. Ginobli's return has been delayed but should be back for playoffs. Duncan's knees have some worried.
5. New Orleans: Won 8 of 10 (granted the schedule was a bit light and they're coming off ugly loss to Bulls). They've underachieved all year and have the potential to make a run in the playoffs.
